FIGHTING FOR A
CLEANER, SAFER,
MORE AFFORDABLE
WEST HOLLYWOOD
Kyle Brazeal is a financial analyst and neighborhood advocate who has spent more than a decade fighting for a cleaner, safer, more affordable West Hollywood. In addition to leading the charge for greater transparency and accountability from City government, Kyle has worked closely with small business owners and neighborhood associations struggling with rising costs and unsafe streets.
The son of a waitress and a truck driver turned union ironworker, Kyle grew up in a working-class family that often struggled to make ends meet. Watching his father endure decades of physical hardship to provide stability for their family shaped Kyle's belief that working people deserve dignity, opportunity, and institutions that support them rather than exploit them.
As a West Hollywood renter, Kyle has experienced rising housing costs firsthand, been a victim of the mail and package thefts too common in our city, and seen local small businesses close as the cost of doing business has skyrocketed in recent years.
Kyle is running for City Council because West Hollywood deserves leaders who will fight for our community, not outside special interests.

KYLE'S PLAN FOR WEHO

SAFER STREETS
& NEIGHBORHOODS
Fix potholes and sidewalks while protecting critical parking to make our streets safer for everyone: drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders.
Fund more first responders and 911 dispatchers to reduce emergency response times and keep our neighborhoods safe.

A RESPONSIBLE HOUSING PLAN
Build more affordable housing along transit corridors, while protecting vulnerable seniors, low-income households, and renters from displacement and preserving single-family neighborhoods.
Make permitting more efficient and less costly, collecting public input early and moving quickly to production once a project meets our requirements.

SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES
Cut red tape and policies that make it too expensive to operate a small business in West Hollywood, driving local jobs and investment to neighboring cities.
Partner with small business organizations to create tax credits, small loan programs, and other incentives to bring in new businesses and help current ones thrive.
